Stan Lee’s Next Venture To Be Of An Indian Superhero ” Chakra “..!!

Even after Stan Lee left Marvel, he never stopped creating superheroes and now one of those newer creations is coming to the big-screen. The animated superhero Chakra the Invincible is turning into a live-action Bollywood movie.

Co-created by Sharad Devarajan and Gotham Chopra, Chakra—real name Raju Rai—is a young superhero living in Mumbai who has a special techno-suit that allows him to access all his body’s chakras. The character premiered in an animated movie on Cartoon Network India in 2013.

The Chakra movie already has a director in Vikramaditya Motwane, who has directed Lootera and Udaan which have won awards and a considerable amount of critical appreciation. Here’s what Lee had to say about the director and the film, courtesy of Hitfix:

“I’m a fan of Bollywood films and am really excited about launching Chakra the Invincible as my first Bollywood superhero movie. Vikramaditya is an amazingly talented filmmaker who I have no doubt can make the Chakra film a massive hit in India and around the world. I only hope he remembers to include my cameo!”

The idea of Stan Lee making a cameo in a Bollywood superhero film delights me to no end. Please let there be dancing involved.
