It seems that Aamir khan isn’t a big fan of ‘Sultan’ trailer. This, according to various media reports, is because Aamir khan was set to release his new film ‘Dangal’ which also deals with wrestling as ‘Sultan’ does. ‘Sultan’ trailer had highlighted a move called “Dhobi Pachaad” which plays a key part of Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’.
This didn’t sit well with the star as he reportedly made heated calls to Aditya Chopra about the matter. Aamir is now considering delaying the release of his film as a result.
“Sultan” follows the story of Sultan Ali Khan, (played by Salman Khan) a gifted wrestler, who takes on his opponents while fighting his inner demons as well. Anushka Sharma will play Sultan’s love interest Aarfa. It is set to open in theatres thisEid.
Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ is a story of wrestler MahavirSignhPhogat and his relationship with his daughters Geeta and Babita. The film is scheduled to release on the 23rd of December.
