For most of us, our memories of going to bookstores is to pick up text books, guide books and ‘previous years’ question paper’.
In fact, if you speak to any major bookseller in the country, you’ll find that there is a huge, growing demand for competitive books, as they remain the hottest items flying off the bookshelves. To capitalise on this trend, Amazon plans to start its online bookstore specially dedicated to books.
Amazon has named the service as ‘Exam Central’, and it will contain sample question papers, fully solved question papers, and articles. It was also reported that exam preparation books were the third most popular category of books. Most of the services are free and students will have access to a wide variety of question banks on the site.
