The Sunrisers Hyderabad were boosted with the return of the middle-order batsmen Yuvraj Singh to the squad on Monday.
The left-hander joined the squad and resumed training with the team members.
Yuvraj was injured and had missed the IPL 2016 so far. He had injured his ankle during the India-Australia World T20 match in Mohali. With SRH looking unstoppable at the moment with victories over RCB and Kings XI Punjab, Yuvraj’s return is adding firepower to the already deadly looking batting line up.
It was only last week that Yuvraj expressed his concern regarding the cricket playing youth preferring IPL. Yuvraj claimed, “This generation is a bit outspoken, at times the things they do look inappropriate in public. But, that’s the way the younger generation is going. I think they need to calm themselves.”
The left-hander was quite vocal about the misplaced priorities of the current generation of Indian cricketers. He affirmed, “I see plenty of younger players in the IPL. After hitting a boundary or a six, they behave as though they have won the game. It is not right. Only once you have won, you should enjoy the way you want to.”
All said and done, We couldn’t be more excited about watching Yuvraj in Play….
