A simple yet comprehensive list of IPL auction just got completed in Bengaluru, yesterday. Some shockers, some surprises and some very disappointing splurges, marked the event with the highest pay packet going to Shane Watson, picked up by the Royal Challengers for a whopping 9.5 crores. Pawan Negi, due to his exemplary previous IPL outings, turned up to be the costliest Indian player, as he got picked for 8.5 crore by Delhi franchise. Yuvraj Singh riding on his burst of blitzkrieg in the recent Australian Tour, brought in good numbers (that’s become something of a habit for him) as he was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a sum of 7 crores.
