The Indian Comedy scene is booming! With the emergence of various stand up comedians and places like Canvas Laugh Factory that help boost local talent, the situation is better than ever for comedians in India. A few comedians have collaborated and are scripting great shows and stand up gigs. A few of them are spreading awareness about the social problems through their wit on YouTube. 1. THE VIRAL FEVER (TVF):

TVF is a Youtube Comedy channel founded by Arunabh Kumar. He is also known and the Qtiyapa guy and is an IIT Kharagpur aluminus. This channel has produced and conceptualized web series like Pitchers and Permanent Roommates. Some of their other famous series of videos are Barely Speaking with Arnub which is a spoof on the famous news channel anchor Arnab Goswami. A channel you must definitely subscribe to.

2. ALL INDIA BAKCHOD (AIB):

Famously known as AIB was founded by Gursimran Khamba and Tanmay Bhat. They now also include Ashish Shakya and Rohan Joshi. Thave been in news recently due to their controversial Roast of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. They drew a lot of criticism for the roast but like they say, bad publicity is also good publicity. By far the most known comedy group in India, their most popular works include AIB’s Honest series and AIB Podcast.

East India Comedy are the busiest comedy group in India. They are a group of stand-up comedians who host, perform and organize comedy shows, workshops and stand-up gigs. They also run a YouTube Channel by the same name. They hosted the very famous Ghanta Awards in 2014. The group comprises of some top-notch comedians like Sahil Shah, Sapan Verma, Azeem Banatwalla, Atul Khatri and Kunal Rao.
