Indian cricket fiesta, IPL 2016 will mark its commencement on 8th of April and everyone is going gaga over the grand event. To keep the tradition alive, bollywood stars including Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, and Honey Singh will be performing at the opening night along with international musicians Chris Brown and Major Lazer and we know it will be the hotspot of entertainment and zeal for all the fans worldwide! (Ain’t no second guessing)
The first match is scheduled to be played on 9th of April between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Stars at Wankhede Stadium. (which will also witness the culminating match to be played on 29th of May. 50 days of pure cricket bliss!)
Talking about the much anticipated opening ceremony, Ranveer Singh has some really cool news about it.
“We will be using an imported technology for the act. It is a special interactive graphic technology. We will design the whole act around it. It will also infuse in itself a cricketing flavor” said the ever bubbly and lively actor. As if there wasn’t much glee around it, this statement has added more fire and anticipation to the IPL frenzy!
The amalgamation of Bollywood and cricket has always led us to an incredibly enthralling ride and we just know its’ going to be even more exciting this time!
