Contrast to the recent times short films which are mostly based on a boy and a girl and a love story, here’s a short film showcasing wonderfully emotions of a 60 yr old man.
Having worked with creative director Krishna Vamsi for 6 years, trained at NYFA and winning 2 Nandi awards for his educational film Omkaram Director Ommkaaram Sashidhar has come up with a heart touching short film called Laddu. Actor Ravi Varma Adduri who is popularly known as small screen Prakash Raj played the lead role in this short film. With big guns like music director Sunil Kashyap and leading publicity designers Anil & Bhanu, who designed the posters, this movie has been crafted in perfection and maintains a connecting feel all through the movie. Kalyan Raghav Pasupula has written the dialogues for this short film who definitely needs a mention for his soothing and realistic words.
“Director Sasidhar took us into a trance and made us feel that we’re right there in the film revolving around the character. I insist he should give a full stop to short films and start directing a beautiful big screen movie soon..” said writer Laxmi Bhopal. Music director Sunil Kashyap said, “I never thought that a common point can be dealt in such a beautiful way. Commendable job by the director in delivering the emotions and all the artists performed well. Director Sasidhar’s vision and taste for good music made my job easy”.
