1.Penukonda Fort

Under the rule of Sri Krishna Devaraya kingdom diamonds are sold like vegetables in the market. This place have approximately 365 temples. The fort have many temples and mosques inside and the two famous attractions are (i)Gagan Mahal Palace, which was constructed in 1575AD and the second capital of Emperor Sri Krishna Devaraya and (ii)Babayya Darga of Hazrat Baba Fakhruddin Suharwardy. Recently KIA Motors had constructed in Penukonda.

2.Ravadurg Gooty Fort

Shell shaped Gooty fort is one of the oldest hill forts in AP built during Tippu Sultan Era by Vijayanagar kings. Has 15 forts inside and earns the name ‘King of Forts’. “Nuvvante Na Navvu” song from Krishnagadi veera Prema Gaadha has been shot in this fort.

3.Thimmamma Marrimanu

Excellent wonders bestowed by nature on the land, Thimmamma Marrimanu is a banyan tree spread across 5 acres of land which is the biggest in South India.

It is famous for its handicrafts. Veerabhadra Temple, Lepakshi Temple, Nandi Bull and paintings are the must-visit places here. Veerapuram village is famous for bird sanctuary, the painted stork is a migratory bird that flies thousands of
miles and nests here.

8.Bugga Ramalingeswara Swami Temple

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is also known as Ramalingeswara Swami Temple. Here the underground water creeps into the Garbha Griha,the water drops onto the place where the Lingam is installed.

9.Rayadurg Fort
