Bahubali was a magnum opus in every way. It did have its glitches, but the sheer scale of the film just out beat them.
2. KUMARI 21F
A bold and beautiful attempt in Telugu cinema. This was a reason why it won many hearts in spite of being speculated that it was adapted from a French movie.
3. YEVADE SUBRAMANYAM
One of the rare kinds of movie about self-realization, love and friendship. It’s an experience to watch this movie.
4. S/O SATYAMURTY
If you take a close look, Satyamurty is hardly seen on screen. But, the way his character is kept alive through his son was one of the sweetest things about the movie.
5. SRIMANTHUDU
Yes, for some the movie was slow. But, it never deviated anywhere from the storyline. These kind of movies will be slow. You just need patience to watch this classy performances.
6. BHALE BHALE MOGADIVOY
Everything was cute about this movie. For the first time, Maruthi broke away from his routine teen-stories and the film spoke a lot about his directorial skills.
7. MALLI MALLI IDI RANI ROJU
A classy attempt that will remain as one of the best love stories of recent times.
8. TEMPER
Ek dum energetic! Jr NTR’s perfect comeback.
9. KANCHE
A period love drama set during the second world war. The dialogues still ring in the ears.
10. RUDRAMADEVI
Directed by Gunashekar, this biopic on Queen Rudramadevi finally saw the light of day after his immense hard work post Okkadu.
