In today’s world, appearances count but they also cost you a dime. The more appealing you look as a person, the more can you be out there. These it’s what on the outside that matter than what’s on the inside. Girls and boys alike have once in their lifetime wished to wear new clothes every new day. Imagine the amazing life we’d all have if we were able to afford a new dress, or a new pant-suit every day, the whole year round. While for some of us, this dazzling mirage is a reality, most of us live vicariously through either fashionistas or movies.
Here’s a few wardrobe essentials that everyone should have to add that little zing into their daily life. What’s best is none of these burn a hole in your pocket and are easily affordable yet flattering.
- The White Tee
It is the water of all clothing, the white t-shirt can be worn over anything, under anything and be paired with anything and yet make you look very appealing. The best part is that it is a gender neutral colour and both boys and girls can wear it. You can make it your own DIY project by either hand-printing it or getting your favourite quote press-printed on it. White t-shirt goes best with stoles and sleeveless jackets and any patterned pants.
- Shorts
Now shorts need not be hot shorts, they could very well be three-fourth in length or capris. These seem to be the best bet during summers and monsoon when you can soak up as much sun or avoid muck. Pairing them with a good fitting t-shirt will get you all set.
- Leather Jackets
While leather jackets almost always tend to tip the scales to expensive, investing in a good one is very sensible. It does have its upside as it lets you get your cool biker vibe on!
Now pants need not necessarily be jeans, they could be cotton, corduroy or even suede. This one would need a lot of searching to find a perfect pair of pants which can be worn any time, which are both casual yet chic and sophisticated at the same time.
- Polo Tees
Now this one’s specifically for the guys, but girls can also wear oversized polo tees over tights. The best part about these is that they go for every occasion, be it casual or suave.
- Accessories
The best way to be presentable is accessorize yourself to be at your optimal level. For guys it could be a cap, a stylish beanie, a good pair of shades or a stole worn in the correct way. For girls it’s an opportunity to go totally all out, you’ve got bracelets, necklaces, earrings, scarfs; the list is endless.
All of the above items can be bought off your fashion street markets and don’t necessarily need to be from high-end stores. Because it’s never the cost but how you carry it off is what matters.
