When these creative speculations blend with great literature, we enjoy a fabulous sci-fi experience. This genre had started in ancient times when people believed in myths more than facts.

FAQ About Time Travel
“FAQ About Time Travel” is about three characters, Chris O’Dowd as Ray, Dean Lennox Kelly as Pete, and Mark Wooden as Toby. They had a common aspiration, which was escaping from their boring jobs and become rich and famous. They visit a bar and have a few drinks where they bump into a lady played by Anna Faris, who claims that she is a time traveler from the future and wants to talk to Ray because he is a superstar in the future, but they laughed it off. Suddenly when Pete came back from the bathroom, he sees that everybody in the bar is dead, then when he goes back and returns, he sees that everything is fine again. The three friends then discover that they are going in the past or the future every time they go to a particular room and come back. They try to understand what the future holds for them and why this time traveling is destined in their lives.

“Nine” is known to be an ambitious project starring Wamiqa Gabbi and Prithviraj Sukumaran. A global crisis arises when a comet passes very close to Earth for nine days in the film. The film explores Albert Lewis and his son Adam’s lives as a primary effect of the comet. This movie seemed not to hit the mark for the Malayalam audience. It’s a whole package of thrilling and mysterious experiences. It makes you wonder about what’s going to be the next scene and where the story will end. “Nine” is an unpredictable movie because so many elements are set up at the beginning of the movie or the first quarter of the film, which shows a diverse view of the characters’ lives. The movie’s whole astronomy angle is the best part of it, and the entire event of the nine days predicted blackout. There are so many unique concepts set in a certain way that make us curious about the conclusion. The main story was the galaxy event that was predicted to happen, which is a nine-day blackout. The whole movie is full of twists that would make the audience watch it again to put the puzzle pieces together.

“The Martian” was released in 2015, directed by Ridley Scott. This movie is based on a book with the same name released in 2011, written by Andy Weir. Its a fantastic film starring Matt Damon. He even received an award for the best actor for his performance in this movie, and the movie also got a lot of positive remarks from the critics. The film begins with the year 2035, and a team of astronauts was on a Mars mission researching it. They get a warning from NASA that a dangerous storm is going to approach where they are. They eventually aborted the mission and started leaving on MAV (Mars Ascent Vehicle). Because of the storm, some astronauts collided with Mark Watney (Matt Damon), and unfortunately, he gets lost in the storm. The others couldn’t keep track of him because his biometer got destroyed, and no one knew his whereabouts. The movie is a journey about a lost astronaut on Mars and how he survives to return to Earth. The way he fought and tackled the problems and reached home after 580 days was commendable.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” was directed by James Gunn, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and Vin Diesel. In the movie, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) was abducted from Earth by the Ravagers, a group of pirates led by Yondu. Twenty-six years later, Peter steals an Orb on a planet called Morag. Ronan (the villain) sends the assassin Gamora after the Orb. A fight happens, making a bounty hunters team that included a modified Raccoon Rocket and the tree-like human Groot. Gamora reveals that she is not with Ronan anymore and is against him using the Orb’s power to destroy planets. Being trapped in the Kyln by Ronan, Peter, Rocket, Groot, and Drax with Gamora worked together to escape. Peter tricks Yondu into taking a container supposedly containing the stone and gives the real stone to the Nova Corps. That way, the group was named Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Empire Strikes Back is the 5th part of the Star Wars series. Irvin Kershner directed this movie. This movie is the continuation of the 4th part of the Star War series. Three years after the destruction of the Death Star, The Rebel Alliance has been driven from their former base on Yavin by the Galactic Empire. The Rebels, led by Princess Leia, played by Carrie Fisher, have set up new ground on the ice planet Hoth. The Imperial fleet led by Darth Vader continues to hunt for the rebel’s new base by dispatching probe droids across the galaxy. While investigating a potential meteor strike, Luke Skywalker encountered several obstacles. At the end of the movie, As the Falcon departs, Luke, Leia, r2d2, and c3po gaze out in the galaxy and await word from Lando, who set off for Tatooine in the Falcon to find Jabba the Hutt and Boba Fett to save Han.

Losing his brother in a robbery, a paraplegic Marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) decides to take up a mission on Pandora, which is a unique world of aliens. While he was in Pandora as one of the aliens, he realizes the corporate head’s intentions of getting rid of the aliens living there, The Na’ vi. They had a precious material underneath their land, and the selfish corporate planned to dig it out to get wealthy. The movie shows how Jake bonds with the tribe and also his romance with one of the aliens, Neytiri. It also shows how he fights against the ruthless Corporate Head for the Na’ vi in Pandora.

While he was in space, he also got aware of a strange wave of power that threatens the universe’s stability.
Maayavan (Tamil)
Maayavan was directed by C.V Kumar, starring Sundeep Kishan and Jackie Shroff. This movie is full of thrill and mysteries. In the film, Kumaran (Sundeep Kishan) visits a psychiatrist named Aadhirai (Lavanya Tripathi), who claims that Kumaran is mentally unstable to join the police. Their meeting ends in a rough note, and Kumaran joins the police force anyway. After a while, he seems to be having PTSD symptoms while investigating a series of murders by a serial killer. He decides to bond with Aadhirai, take her help for the complicated case, and unravel the truth.
