A Brave Act of a Female Bank Manager Fighting an Armed Robber
A brave woman handles challenges with grace and patience and it is quite fortunate enough to watch a woman who put forth a heroic act while others couldn’t. Correspondingly, a female bank manager identified as Poonam Gupta from Marudhara Gramin Bank has courageously come forward to prevent a bank robbery attempt.
In a recent robbery attempt incident that took place at Meera Marg, Sri Ganganagar near Abohar, a burglary attempt didn’t go as planned by the thief. A CCTV Footage that shows the encounter between the Bank Officials and the Armed Robber has gone viral on social media.

The video displays the thief entering the bank premises carrying a knife to scare the officials in an attempt to rob the bank. However, Poonam Gupta, one of the bank employees, took the lead fearlessly to fight off the robber, unarmoured. The thief terrorizes an employee into stuffing the bag with cash. In the course of action, a plier slipped out of the thief’s pocket which Poonam Gupta took hold of and fought back with him.
