1) The film is remake of Tamil movie ‘Chinna Thambi’
2) Chanti movie was first announced with Rajendra Prasad and Khushboo in the lead roles.
3) Ramanaidu gaaru saw the Tamil film Chinna Thambi and felt that it wouldn’t suit Venkatesh. But once the film was a super hit in Tamil, Suresh Babu and Venkatesh liked the film and approached K.S. Ramarao gaaru to do the film with Venkatesh.
