Freedom 251, the world’s cheapest smartphone is coming to India, and guess what bro – It’s totally made in India. And it’s not 500 as we were lead to believe earlier. It’s exactly 251, half the budget of a medium size pizza. Here’s what you need to know about it.
- The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS which with the help of a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. The smart phone is pretty fast to start off with. It supports 3G for lightning-fast web browsing. Freedom for website and that’s what meant by free basics.
2. It comes with 4-inch screen that isn’t that bad for sub- Rs 5,000 phones. 1GB RAM of Freedom 251, can easily run WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter with some more space to spare for more apps. Best thing, they all come pre-loaded
