How to Make Quick and Easy Chicken Vada At Home

Then we have the perfect recipe in mind for you, Chicken Vada is a great spin over to the traditional Vada recipe, you get the crispy Vada layering on the outside, but the insides are filled with delicious chicken, let’s take a look at you can make this recipe at home


  • Chicken
  • Onions
  • Chillies
  • Rice flour
  • Bengal gram
  • Cumin seeds
  • Ginger
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander


Heat some oil in a pan and add ¼ chicken to it,

Now add 1tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1tsp turmeric, 1/2tsp salt and 1tsp red chilli powder

Cook the chicken on a low flame for a few minutes, till the chicken becomes soft

In a mixer grinder, add 2tbsp of Bengal gram, cooked chicken, 1tbsp cumin seeds, 2tbsp ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves and grind it to a coarse paste

Now add 1 cup of chopped onions and couple of green chillies to the grinder and grind them finely

Take the mixture out in a bowl, and add 2tbsp of Bengal gram, and 3tsp of rice flour, and mix the ingredients well¬

Your batter is now ready

Make small balls using the batter, and deep fry them on both sides till they turn golden brown

Your crispy and delicious Chicken Vada is now ready
