And this movie got a massive response in some states and got banned in states like Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

The Kerala Story received some backlash from Muslim communities in Kerala and other states for portraying Muslims and their preachings in a different way. Saying the same reasons TN and WB Governments banned this movie screening in the states.
