When one speaks of Oscars in India, it is most of the time associated with Rahman. Oscars is considered as the most prestigious award to be achieved in the field of cinema worldwide. Though there have been instances when Indian films were nominated for Oscars, there is no film that won an award under the Best Foreign Film Category. But, there are few people who have achieved it. But, there are few other Indians who have also won an Academy award or more popularly known as Oscar Awards.
