South Indian movies form the largest revenue earning industry after Bollywood. They have grown tremendously in their cinematic approach, creativity and talent. These industries are acting as a base for the actors who want to have a standing in Bollywood.

Bollywood has also remade many films from the south, not just recently, but, in the past too. South Indian films being remade in Hindi provide a larger scale of fame for the film and its creatives which otherwise gets restricted to its particular state.
