Chicken Chintamani Recipe

Is there any food better than that involves Chicken? No, right?
Now let us look through a very famous Tamil Nadu recipe Chicken Chintamani how to make it and obviously to enjoy it later!

Ingredients:

  1. Cleaned chicken – 250g
  2. Sesame Seed Oil
  3. Dry Masala (Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom)
  4. 2 Onions – chopped
  5. 10 Dried Red Chilli – chopped
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste
  7. Turmeric
  8. Salt
  9. Corriander Powder
  10. Black Pepper Powder
  11. Chicken Masala

This is a very simple recipe that requires only one pan and a few simple ingredients to get started.

First, take a pan with medium flame add a few tablespoons of sesame oil, dry masala, 2 chopped onions and wait for onions to turn brown. After that add all the red and green chillies. This recipe will not include any red chilli powder.

Unnamed (54)Next, add ginger garlic paste and cook it till the paste is fried a little and ensure the oil starts floating before moving on to the next step. Add in the washed chicken along with some salt and a pinch of turmeric powder and wait for five minutes.

After that add a cup of water and stir once on a high flame till almost all the water is evaporated.

Unnamed (55)Finally, add Chicken Masala, Coriander Powder, Black Pepper Powder and mix it all well.

Garnish it with freshly washed and cut curry leaves. Enjoy!
