If the trailer of Jai Gangajal trailer is anything to go by, Priyanka Chopra might deliver her most resounding performance yet.
The film, which is not related to the Ajay Devgn starrer Gangaajal, takes on a completely new story and plot point. Prakash Jha, who has directed both the films, also makes his acting debut in the film. The earlier Gangaajal film was a moderate success, but couldn’t compete with the bigger films that released around the time.
Priyanka Chopra plays SP Abha Mathur, a no-nonsense cop who decides to take on the local mafia and politicians, and decides to do things her own way.
However, with Priyanka Chopra grabbing eyeballs with her role in American TV series Quantico, the new Jai Gangaajal trailer promises yet another awesome film in her filmography. Chopra has been having a great time at the box office, with her performances in the last three films Bajirao Mastani, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Mary Kom, winner her critical acclaim.
