Sensational Director Ram Gopal Varma announced that ‘Vangaveeti’ would be his last Telugu film. Considering his mentality, he’s yet again proved he won’t be standing on his word by announcing a new film in Telugu, that too a biggie! RGV is going to team up with NandamuriBalakrishna for the bio pic of his father, legendary actor and politician NandamuriTarakarama Rao. Balakrishna announced the film couple of months ago, said he’d play his dad in the film and perfect script work is going on.

They makers approached legendary K. Raghavendra Rao intially to direct but were skeptical in considering him. Balakrishna became friends with RGV on the sets of Sarkar 3, when he went to meet Amitabh Bachchan. RGV wanted to make a movie named ‘Rythu’ with Balayya then but did not materialize. RGV was successful in making several Real life stories and also showed the character of NTR in RakthaCharithra and Vangaveeti.

RGV confirmed about it indicating that he would be helming the project to be produced by Vishnu Induri who is popular in conducting high-profile IPs such as CCL and SIIMA. He has explained his tryst with the legendary icon saying he watched ‘AdaviRamudu’ 23 times and had to walk 10 kilometers to watch the movie in the theatre. RGV also stated that he was one among the one lakh crowd who went to see NTR during his announcement of political entry. He also said he is proud to make a film on the person who made Telugu people proud.

RGV also released a song on his website about the icon of Telugu people, and also sung it himself. However there is no official announcement yet about RGV and Balakrishna teaming up, as the script is yet to be finalized. Though they wanted to show the full life, it is known that there are several controversies in his later life, so they are planning to end it at him becoming the CM. So we have to wait to know if both are working together.
