One of our favourite street foods has to be Bread Pakoda. Bread Pakoda and chai is a classic combo that everyone loves. And, honestly to make Bread Pakoda, you do not need any fancy ingredients. All you need are some bread slices and some chutney.
So, here’s a simple Bread Pakoda recipe but with a small twist to your regular one. This is Bread Paneer Sandwich Pakoda. Sounds fun, right? Then go ahead and try making this simple recipe!

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Paneer

For the Chutney:

  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Jeera Powder
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • Mint leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Water
  • Lemon Juice

For the flour mixture:

  • ½ cup Gram Flour
  • 2 tsp Rice Flour
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Ajwain
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Chaat Masala

Chutney Preparation:

1.To prepare the chutney or filling for the Sandwich, take ginger, garlic, jeera powder, salt, mint leaves, coriander leaves and some water. Grind it into a fine paste and add a few drops of lemon juice. Mix it well and keep it aside.

Procedure:

1.Firstly you need to prepare a flour mixture. To prepare it, take gram flour, rice flour. Salt, baking soda, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, ajwain and mix it well. Slowly add water into this and mix it till it forms a thick paste.

2.Now, take your bread slices and cut the edges. Also, take a Paneer bar and slice them into thin full strips.

3.Take your bread slices; coat them with your Green sauce. Take some chat masala and sprinkle it all over the paneer slice. Place the paneer slice between two slices. Cut your bread into half in a triangular shape.

4.Take a pan and pour some oil into it. Dip your bread into the flour mixture and deep fry it in the pan. Fry till the bread turns golden brown on both the sides.

5.Your Bread Paneer Sandwich Pakoda is now ready to be served hot!
