2022 is a year of blockbusters for South Indian Cinema. Movies like KGF, RRR. Karthikeya 2 & Kantara became huge hits at the box office. Yash, Ram Charan, Jr NTR & Rishab Shetty got huge fame and name with their performances. On the flip side, a few South Indian heroines who tried to shine with PAN-India and regional movies failed to do so.

2. Rashmika – 1 Flop
Sharwanand & Rashmika Mandanna’s Adavallu Meeku Joharlu movie bombed at the boxoffice this year. AMJ is her only South movie this year and she did Goodbye in Bollywood which is an average hit at the box office.
3. Samantha – 1 Flop
Samantha’s medical thriller with surrogacy concept received negative reviews but made good money at the box office. Her other release Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal movie did well at box office.
4. Tamannah – 3 Flops
Tamannah Telugu movie Gurthundha Seethakalam failed miserably at the box office. Tamanah’s other movies in Hindi Babli Bouncer, Plan A Plan B also failed at the box office.
5. Sai Pallavi – 1 Flop
Sai Pallavi did 2 films this year, one is Virata Parvam didn’t do well in theaters. Another movie is Gargi which got positive reviews and made decent money at the box office.
6. Srinidhi Shetty – 1 Flop
Srinidhi Shetty, got a huge hit with KGF 2 this year and she had a huge disaster with the Vikram starrer Cobra movie.
7. Tapsee – Mishan Impossible
Tapsee starrrer Mishan Impossible movie flopped big time at the box office. This movie is the second movie of director Swaroop RSJ whose debut movie Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya is a huge hit at the box office.
8. Kajal Agarwal – 1 Flop
Kajal made her Malayalam debut this year with Hey Sinamika starring Dulquer In a Lead role. This movie was a big disaster at the box office.
