Vijay

Believe it or not, Ilayathalapathi Vijay was first seen as a child actor in the 1984 movie Vetri which had Vijaykanth in the lead role. This film was directed by his father S.A. Chandrasekhar who was appalled by his son’s acting prowess. This is what propelled him to encourage his son to polish his acting skills and to establish him as a star in the Tamil film industry.

At an age when most children are busy completing their assignments and studying for exams, these actors wowed the audience with their histrionics on screen. This dabbling with the silver screen is what made them come back for more as lead actors and actresses.
