During the dry winter season, our bodies tend to get dehydrated very quickly due to the lack of external moisture. But during the hot summers, the body might be loaded with enough liquids but the heat outside tends to drain the water levels from the body. Either way, it is important for each one to consume enough fluids and food with high water content to keep the hydration level of our body optimal.

Here is our list of the top ten high water content based foods:

Cucumber: Cucumber is one vegetable that has one of the largest percentages of water. Being available almost every season this vegetable can be consumed raw, fermented, or with salads to add hydration to the body and not to miss out on the high fiber content.

CucumberTomatoes: The bright red vegetables with high water content, Vitamin C, and a high dose of antioxidants. The list is good enough for anyone to consume throughout the year. Raw, with curry or as rasam tomatoes never disappoints us.

TomatoesSpinach: This green leafy vegetable, not just aids in bettering the eyesight and provide enough iron for a body suffering from anemia, addition to this are the high water level percentages of this healthy food.

SpinachMushrooms: Fungi with Vitamin B2 and the capacity to release energy soon after consumed along with a variety of minerals present make it the perfect vegetable to consume with curries, salads, and as a fry.
