We have all grown up listening to bhajans as children. Most of them followed a particular musical style. On the other hand, qawwalis were generally sung by maestros like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and others.
But how about a bhajan that is sung like a qawwali?
This initiative by the Riyaaz Qawwali group, as a part of its Project Kishti, intends to fuse styles of music to beautiful effect. The version that it has been adapted to is a famous number by the great Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
