The series quickly became of the most popular series in India and was welcomed with positive reviews, The series follows the tale of a troubled police officer in Mumbai who receives a phone call from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (NawazuddinSiddiqui), who tells him to save the city within 25 days. The series chronicles the events that follow.
Delhi Crime is a crime drama web series written and directed by Richie Mehta, it stars Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang. The series covers the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi Gang Rape and follows the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vartika Chaturvedi, who is tasked to find the culprits responsible for the assaults and death of the female victim. Delhi crime received positive reviews upon release, with many praising it for its raw and realistic approach to the crime, the show is set for a new season with same characters, but covering different crimes.
