Chicken is perhaps the easiest meat to work with. It is also super versatile and workd with several flavours. Spicy, tangy, sweet, add any flavouring ingredients or herbs to chicken, and the dish will be fine. There are very few chances that you might go wrong with it and that is also a reason why the world loves it, for its uniqueness.
And here is a spicy and tangy Chicken curry flavoured with Coriander leaves and Pudina leaves. If you love a bit of mint in your food, then this is your go-to recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken

Masala Paste:

  • Coriander Leaves
  • Mint Leaves
  • Cloves
  • Elaichi
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste

Masala Powder:

  • Coriander Powder
  • Dry Coconut Powder

Curry:

  • Oil
  • Elaichi
  • Cloves
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Salt
  • Red Chilly Powder
  • Water
  • Coriander Leaves

Procedure:

1.Firstly you need to prepare a coriander and mint paste. To prepare that, take a handful of coriander leaves, mint leaves, cloves, elaichi, ginger-garlic paste and grind it a fine paste. Keep this aside.

2.Now, take some coriander powder, dry coconut powder and grind to a fine powder.

3.Take a cooker, add some oil and sauté elaichi, cloves and ½ tsp turmeric powder. Then, add ½ kg chicken and salt as per taste and mix it well. Add 2 tsp red chilly powder and fry it for 4 minutes.

4.Add freshly ground coriander and mint paste and mix it well. Cook it covered for 7 minutes. To this add ground coconut and coriander powder and give it a nice mix. Add 1 cup water to this, and cook it for 3 whistles.

5.Now, simmer cook it for 5 minutes.

6.Garnish it with Coriander Leaves.
