Fortune 500 – is an annual list compiled and published by Fortune magazine that ranks 500 of the largest corporations in the world by total revenue for their respective fiscal years. They do research on all businesses, industries, people, individuals, countries etc…. and list annual reports in December.

For this year they did the same on Most Powerful Women In India 2021 and released a list of India’s Most Powerful Women In Indian 2021. Here’s the 10 Most Powerful Women In India 2021 According To Fortune 500.

1. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman – Union Cabinet Minister, BJP

On 31 May 2019, Nirmala Sitharaman was appointed as the finance and corporate affairs minister. She is India’s first full-time female finance minister. And she bagged first place for her achievements as FM and contributions towards people of India through public service.

2 Nita Ambani – Reliance Foundation CEO

Nita Ambani the lady behind Mukesh Ambani takes care of all Reliance Foundation charity services and she is also involved in Reliance Industries growth.

3. Soumya Swaminathan – Chief Scientist Of WHO

Gita Gopinath is an Indian-American economist serving as the Chief Economist of the International Monetary Fund since 2019. In that role she is the Director of IMF’s Research Department and the Economic Counsellor of the Fund.

8.Tessy Thomas – Director General, Aeronautical Systems DRDO

Tessy Thomas joined DRDO in 1988, where she worked on the design and developments of the new generation ballistic missile, Agni. She was appointed by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for the Agni Project.

She was appointed as Director-General, Aeronautical Systems of DRDO.

9. Rekha M. Menon- Chairperson, Accenture India

She is a leading industry voice on advanced technology led innovation and socio-economic progress. Rekha is also the Chairperson of NASSCOM, and a member of the National Council of CII, and USIBC’s India Advisory Council.
