Ingredients:
1/2 cup Sabudana (tapioca or pearl sago)
4 cups (1 litre) Milk
4 tablespoons Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
4-5 Saffron strands(Kesar), dissolved in 1 tablespoon Milk
2 tablespoons sliced Almonds (optional)
1/2 cup Water
Method:
1. Sabudana ni water lo baga wash chesi drain cheyali.
2. Ee wash chesina sabudana ni ½ cup water lo oka 2 hours soak cheyali.
3. Heavy bottom pan lo full-fat milk ni boil cheyali.
4. Boil avuthuna milk lo soak chesina sabudana ni add cheyali.
5. Sabudana inka milk ni baga mix chesi ee mixture lo sugar kuda vesi baga mix cheyali.
6. Ee mixture ni 10-15 minutes leda sabudana complete ga transparent ayye varaku cook cheyali.
7. Ee cook ayina mixture lo cardamom powder inka milk lo dissolve chesina saffron ni add cheyali.
8. Ee mixture ni 10-15 min inka cook chesi milk thick ayye varaku wait cheyali.
9. Milk thick ayina tarvtha kheer ni serving bowl loki transfer cheskovali.
