The Apple Development Center was inaugurated yesterday with the CEO of Apple INC., Tim Cook himself gracing the occasion. With Telangana coming close to 2 years of its formation, this was a commendable milestone in the IT history of the newly formed state of Telangana.
Now, what stood as an impressive act was KT Rama Rao’s speech where he smartly covered all the points he wanted to with Tim Cook making it public and also seemed to have gained Mr. Cook’s interest. Addressing a gathering the dynamic IT minister who has already proved his worth, explained the State’s Industrial Policy to Mr. Cook. He said that the new state of Telangana was open to expansion of more Apple centers with further manufacturing units that would come in the future. He offered that Telangana is open to partner with Apple in its growth which would mutually benefit the company as well as the state.

For the past few days the news that KTR kept as suspense was a curious topic on twitter. Opening his speech by revealing to Tim that his followers on twitter were curious to know ‘what was cooking?’, KTR welcomed all new employees of the smart phone giant’s first development centre wishing them all good luck.
