Planning To Make Dhaba Style Palak Paneer? Here’s A Simple Recipe To Prepare It!

Paneer is vegetarian’s chicken is how we often make fun of the paneer-loving friends or vegetarian friends. But let’s be honest here, we all love Paneer. A very healthy source of minerals and proteins, paneer is often the star vegetarian dish on any table.
Palak Paneer made with rich and thick Palak gravy, this dhaba style Palak Paneer recipe is a must-try recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Paneer

Palak Puree:

  • 1 cup Spinach
  • ½ cup Mint Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • ¾ cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1 cup Onions
  • 5 Green Chillies
  • 3 cups Water

Curry:

  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 cup Onions
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • ½ cup Cream

Procedure:

1.In a vessel, take 3 cups of water, when the water reaches its boiling point, add spinach leaves, mint leaves, garlic, ginger, green chillies, and coriander leaves. Boil it for 5 minutes.

2.Strain the water from the contents, cool it down and grind them into a fine paste.

3.Now, take a pan, add some ghee, and fry paneer cubes till they turn golden-brown in colour. Keep the roasted cubes aside.

4.To this, add garlic, thinly chopped onions and fry them till the onions turn golden-brown. Then add the spinach puree to this and when it starts to boil, add salt, paneer, garam masala powder and kasuri methi. Mix it together.

5.Cook it covered for 5 minutes on a low flame.

6.Finally, add butter and cream.

7.Serve it hot with naans or rotis.
