Acclaimed Bollywood film director, Ram Gopal Varma who has directed some very successful Hindi films like Satya, Rangeela, Sarkar, Shiva, Bhoot, Sarkar Raj, Company, D etc. is in news most of the times for all the wrong reasons. His acidic remarks about the Bollywood stalwarts and their movies, sees him surrounded with controversies more often than not. The failure of his recent ventures is no consolation whatsoever.
A few days back, RGV created a buzz when he compared actor Pawan Kalyan to veterans like Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi. He remarked the Pawan was ten times more talented than the Telugu superstar, Chiranjeevi and five times better than Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth. The fans of these actors did not take to this too lightly.
If this was not enough, RGV has again got into the midst of another controversy, thanks to his unasked for advice to King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. Apparently after watching the movie Fan, Varma said that if SRK continues experimenting with his roles, chances are that he would be losing his super stardom and making way for Salman Khan.
Here goes the series of tweets :
Megastar SRK becoming ordinary fan, dwarf etc is as big a same blunder as what Kamal Hasan did to lose his stardom to Rajnikant(Salman Khan)

Kamal was as big a superstar as Rajnikant till he started doing dwarf, fat, tall etc nd as a fan I hope SRK doesn't listen to wrong advisers
— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) April 23, 2016
SRK must learn from mistakes of kamal and not listen to near n dear ones who are stopping him from becoming a Mega Rajnikant.

What made things worse was when he gave the example of Kamal Hassan, who according to RGV had the complete caliber of being a superstar but could not do so due to his flair for experimenting with different roles. According to Ram Gopal Varma, this is what gave Rajni a leeway and propelled him to the great heights of Tamil Cinema. He went on to say that if SRK really wanted to continue reigning Bollywood, he should follow Rajnikanth’s footsteps and stick to the time tested formulae.
Rajnikant is Rajnikant bcos he always himself and Kamal always trying to be someone else..I hope SRK will remain like himself like Salman

Kamal Hasan could have been a btr Rajnikant if he din't keep bcmng some1 else..so SRK should learn from Kamal's mistakes and just be Salman

RGV and his remarks have been in news for quite some time now. However, his remarks about Kamal Hassan are surely not going to win him any rosy points with diehard fans of Ulaganayagan, who love him just for his diversities.
