Instead of going out and having icecreams all the time, it is sometimes nicer and healthier to make them at home with fresher ingredients. And idi tough ankunte.. you are wrong.
Here are a few recipes that are so damn easy.
1. Watermelon IcecreamYes, you heard it right! It is watermelon and icecream. A combination you will definitely be surprised to make and eat.
We need:
· 2 cups cubed watermelon
· 2 cups whole milk
· 2 tbsp. sugar
· 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
What to do?
· Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a loaf pan and freeze for 3 hours.
· Remove mixture from loaf pan and blend again. Pour back into loaf pan and freeze for another hour.
· Eat well, now!
2. Chocolate IcecreamWe need:
· 2 1/2 cups milk (full cream)
· 1 Tbsp custard powder
· 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
· 1 cup sugar
· 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
· 1 ½ cups cream
What to do?
· Mix both the powders and sugar in half a cup of milk and add this to the remaining milk while it is boiling.
· Bring this milk and custard mixture to a boil again. Once boiling, simmer it and for 30 seconds and cool it down.
· After it reaches room temperature, mix in the cream and vanilla and transfer to an airtight container.
· After it freezes, whip it up in a blender and freeze it again.
· Your ice cream is done!
3. Vanilla IcecreamWe need:
· 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
· 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
· 2 cups cold heavy cream
What to do?
· In a bowl, stir together condensed milk, vanilla.
· In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream on high until stiff peaks form, 3 minutes.
· With a spatula, gently fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture. Pour into a loaf pan. Freeze until firm, approximately 6 hours.
4. Coconut IcecreamWe need:
· 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
· 1/4 cup unfiltered coconut oil, melted
· 1/4 teaspoon salt
· 2 cups heavy cream
· Coconut flakes, for serving
What to do?
· In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, coconut oil and salt.
· In a separate bowl, beat cream on high until stiff peaks form, about 1 1/2 minutes.
· Whisk half the cream into milk mixture. Fold in remaining cream. Transfer to a 4 1/2-by 8 1/2-inch loaf pan. Freeze until firm, at least 6 hours, and up to 1 week.
5. Rasgulla Icecream
We need:
· 1 full brick of Vanilla Icecream
· 8 Rasgullas
· 10 pieces Marie biscuits
· 8 to 10 chocolate cubes
· 1 milk chocolate
What to do?
· Take out the ice cream from the freezer and melt it a little by keeping out for some time.
· Make the biscuits crumbs by churning it in the mixer.
· Take the whole “ras” out of the rasgulla and place these rasgullas in the desired serving bowls.
· Mix the biscuit crumbs, chocolate, nuts/cubes to the ice cream.
· With the help of a tablespoon place the ice cream over the rasgullas in the serving.
