  1. IIT Madras

Indian Institute of Technology Madras is a public technical institution that is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is referred to as IITM or IIT Madras. It has been selected as one of India’s eight Institutes of Eminence. It is acknowledged as an institution of national importance and is one of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

It was the third Indian Institute of Technology to be formed by the Indian government, and it was founded in 1959 with technical and financial support from the former West German government. Since its establishment in 2016, the National Institutional Ranking Framework of the Ministry of Education has placed IIT Madras as India’s top engineering institution. 5. Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology

Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET), operated by the Society of Jesus in Chennai, India, is a private Catholic institution for engineering and technology. It is accredited by AICTE and associated with Chennai’s Anna University. As part of the Chennai Jesuit Mission’s initiatives to empower the Dalits, the impoverished, and the disadvantaged, the Jesuits created this Christian Minority College in 2010.

B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, formerly known as B.S. Abdur Rahman University, is a private institution in Tamil Nadu, India. Previously functioning as Crescent Engineering College under the University of Madras (1984–2001) and Anna University (2001–09), the institution gained deemed status in 2008–2009.
