The film manages to show the ugly truth of the Taj hotel attacks, brutally and realistically, though most of the story is fictional, the scenes are extremely raw and realistic. The story is gripping, and you’ll find yourself hooked from the start. The only nitpick is that it goes a little too far into fiction, and when you are portraying a real-life event that many are still sensitive about, it can upset a few people. The Telugu dubbed version of the film is a great watch, as it has some great voice acting and good performances.

The film stars Superstar Mahesh Babu, along with Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, as the film tells the Harsha, a multimillionaire, who visits a local village to improve the standard of living of the local people and the infrastructure of the village. Geetha Govindam is a light-hearted movie, that is refreshing to watch, though the story is routine, the chemistry between the lead actors works well, the film has great humour moments and runs at a good pace, Making Geetha Govindam a perfect family entertainer, that can be enjoyed by all ages.
