3. Before 1948, Telangana was part of Hyderabad Princely State under Nizams. But Nizams handed it over to the Indian Government after Post Independence. The Hyderabad state has a Separate Army of Nizam Kings, and different currencies, taxes, and rules compared to the rest of India.

4. Operation Polo is commissioned under Sardar Vallabhai Patel in 1948 to invade and hand over the Hyderabad Princely State from Nizams. The Indian Army marched over to Hyderabad in large troops and Last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan agreed to Hyderabad Annexation.
