1. Narendra Modi Modi Is The Most Successful Prime Minister Of India After Nehru, Indira Gandhi & Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

2. Modi was born on 17th September 1950 to a poor Gujarati family of grocers in Vadnagar, Mehsana of Gujarat.

8. Modi played a major role in winning the Ahmedabad municipal elections of Gujarat in 1987. He succeeded in organizing L. K. Advani’s 1990 Ram Rath Yatra and Murli Manohar Joshi’s Ekta Yatra in 1992. Entered into Gujarat State Assembly elections after these 2 Yatras.

9. On 3 October 2001, Modi replaced Patel as Chief Minister of Gujarat. Modi was sworn in as Chief Minister on 7 October 2001. He went on to win 3 consecutive elections and served as CM of Gujarat for more than 12 years over 4 terms (the longest-serving CM of the state).
