Now, Maruti Suzuki is the top most selling car in 2021 i.e., it secured the number one position in H1 Sales by selling over 1,72,671 units in the Indian Market. Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a new dual-jet engine that produces 90ps and 113 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. The price of the Maruti Suzuki Swift range starts from 5.73 lakh and goes up to Rs. 8.40 lakh ex-showroom.

2. Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R

The second top most selling car on the list is the Wagon-R and indeed it has been bringing consistent sales for the past year. In H1 of 2021, Maruti Suzuki sold over 1,60,330 units of the Wagon-R with 1.0 liter and 1.2-liter petrol engines and both the engines can be equipped with an AMT gearbox as well. The price range of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R starts from rs. 4.80 lakh and goes to Rs. 6.33 lakh ex-showroom. Customers love Wagon-R for its simplistic approach and terrific functionality. Another top most selling car in India 2021 is Maruti Suzuki Baleno and it secures the third spot in H1 sales. It sold over 1,63,445 units in the country despite the volatile market conditions. Additionally, the company will soon launch the Baleno Facelift. The prices of Maruti Suzuki Baleno start from Rs. 5.98 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 9.30 lakh ex-showroom.

4. Maruti Suzuki Alto

The fourth top most best-selling small car in India is Maruti Suzuki Alto since its inception. Maruti Suzuki sold over 1,66,233 units of Alto and the price range of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 starts from Rs. 2.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 4.60 lakh ex-showroom. Maruti Suzuki Alto comes powered with a 0.8-liter petrol engine along with a CNG option as well. Maruti Suzuki was the first to embrace this technology of simple device that retains the manual transmission but does away with the manual clutch. The fifth top most selling car in India is the Hyundai Creta and it grabbed the spot of Vitara Brezza. The only sedan in this list is the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, and it continues to be the best-selling sedan in India. Powering the Dzire is a sole 1.2-liter petrol engine that comes mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. Maruti Suzuki sold over 1,16,222 Dzire cars in CY 2021. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire price range starts from Rs. 5.98 lakh to Rs. 9.02 lakh ex-showroom.

7. Maruti Suzuki Eeco

The top seventh most selling car in India is the Maruti Suzuki Eeco. Despite being a bare bone car, the Eeco is the best-selling MPV in India. It comes powered with a 1.3-liter petrol engine with a sole 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti Suzuki sold over 1,14,524 Eeco units last year. The price range of Maruti Suzuki Eeco starts from Rs. 4.08 lakh and goes up to Rs. 5.29 lakh ex-showroom.The Eeco was launched first in January 2010 and it has crossed 6.7 lakh unit sales with an 87% market share.

8. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The top eighth-most-selling car in India is Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It is a competent seven-seater MPV that offers much by way of cabin room and practicality everything at an affordable price. The Ertiga can be had in petrol-manual, petrol-auto and diesel manual versions. It sold over 1,14,408 units in the last year. The price range of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga starts from Rs. 7.96 lakh and goes up to Rs. 10.69 lakh. 

9. Tata Nexon

The new Tata Nexon is the second non-Maruti Suzuki model to make it to the list of top 10 cars sold in India. Tata sold over 1,85,577 units of the sub-compact SUV in the year 2021. Tata Nexon has been a popular selling model since its launch and the Nexon EV has also emerged as a popular choice in the EV segment. The price range of Tata Nexon starts from Rs. 7.29 lakh and goes up to Rs. 13.34 lakhs ex-showroom.

10. Hyundai Venue

Hyundai Venue is the tenth top most selling car in India in 2021. Hyundai Sales have been a marginal dip when compared to the Vitara Brezza. Hyundai sold over 2,50,518 units and the price range of Hyundai Venue starts from Rs. 6.92 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 11.78 lakh ex-showroom.
