  • Baahubali 2: The Conclusion – ₹1,810 crore

Baahubali 2The second film in the Baahubali franchise, and the follow-up to Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is an epic action film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles, and acts as both a sequel and a prequel to the first film. The film follows the sibling rivalry of Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva and explains why Kattapa killed Baahubali at the end of the first film. Made on a budget of ₹250 Crores, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was released on 28 April 2017, to positive reviews. The film went on to shatter records by grossing over 1,800 Crores Worldwide to become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. It was later Dangal. It is also the highest-grossing film in India, as it grossed over ₹1429 crore during its theatrical run, making it the only film to gross over 1000 crores in India. The film sold an estimated 100 million tickets, the highest a film ever sold in India since Sholay.

  • Baahubali: The Beginning – ₹600 crore

The film that started it all, Bahubali: The Beginning directed by S. S. Rajamouli, is the first instalment of the two cinematic parts of the Bahubali franchise. It stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah in the lead roles, as it tells the story of a young man named Shivudu, who falls in love with a warrior, as he tries to impress her, he soon discovers past of his family and his true legacy. The film was made on a budget of ₹180 crores, making it the most expensive Indian film at its time of release. The film was released worldwide on 10th July 2015, to a tremendous reception from fans and critics alike, the film changed the perception that Telugu films were viewed around the world. It grossed ₹600 crores making it the highest-grossing film in India at the time, and the third highest-grossing Indian film worldwide. The film did exceptionally well overseas as well, earning over 80 crores in the international market, It was also the highest-grossing South Indian film at the time of its release.

  • Saaho – ₹432.4 crore

Saaho Is an action thriller film written and directed by Sujeeth. The film stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, as it tells the story of an undercover cop, who while trying to catch a smart thief discovers that the case is related to the murder of a crime lord. Sahoo was filmed simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on a budget of ₹350 crores, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The film was released on 30 August 2019 to mixed reviews. Despite the mixed reviews, the film was extremely successful commercially, grossing ₹130 crores on its opening day, the second highest-ever for an Indian film, and ₹294 crores on its opening weekend. The film grossed ₹433.06 crores during its theatrical run, making it the third-highest Telugu film of all time.

  • Sarileru Neekevaru – ₹260 crore

Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sarileru Neekevaru is an action comedy film starring Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. It tells of an army major, who is sent to Kurnool on a mission to keep the country safe from external threats. Made on a budget of 75 crores, Sarileru Neekevaru was released on 11th January 2020 to mixed reviews, with many appreciating the acting and comedy, but criticizing the story. Despite its lukewarm reviews, the film was a commercial success, with it grossing 68 crores on its opening day, the highest for the actor. The film grossed 100 crores in just three days, making it one of the fastest to reach that mark. The film went on to gross over 260 crores during its theatrical run, making it highly successful.

  • Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo – ₹250 crore

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is an action-drama film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, as it tells the story of a middle-class man named Bantu, who discovers that he is the son of a rich businessman, and the clerk secretly switched his newborn son with him. The film was released on 12th January 2020, to positive reviews, from fans and critics alike. Many praised the acting performances of Allu Arjun and Murali Sharma, and strong screenplay and writing of the movie. Made on a budget of 100 crores, the film was a Box office Blockbuster, the film ruled the Box Office for over 50 days, grossing over 250 crores worldwide, making it the actors most grossed film and the 5th highest Telugu Grossing film of all time.
