The Telugu Film Industry is full of talents and beauty. No wonder that the film industry is blessed to have so many gifted actresses apart from the actors.
Indeed many actresses appeared in Telugu films, but only few successfully managed to occupy our hearts and continuously win the same. Being a South Indian, the legendary actress Rekha proved herself in both mainstream movies as well art house. Rekha actually started her career with a Telugu movie “Rangula Ratnam” as a child actress.
The legendary actress Savitri had literally ruled the Southern film industry in her time without any flaws. The inheritance of Savitri was taken forward by Soundarya who proved herself worthy enough in every genre movie.
With a girl next door image, Soundarya delivered some strong performances in Telugu and other regional language movies which grasped her to achieve a very prestigious National Film Award and Nandi Award.
Interestingly, the Telugu Superstar Venkatesh once described Saundarya as “a thorough actress” and the legendary movie-actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao considered her as the appropriate replacement of the renowned actress Savitri.
After the sudden demise of Soundarya it is hard to find a versatile cine-artist like her anyway. Samantha is the most celebrated actress and a ruler with her dazzling performances. Her arrival was even bigger than Naga Chaintanya in Yemaya Chesave where she became a hot property instantly. She continued with Dookudu, Eega, Manam and is continuing to have her kitty full with roles.
Nithya Menon
The Malayalam actress was a find by Nandini Reddy, he multi-talented side is her added advantage. Short and cute, she has lots loads of substance in her which she has proved it time and again.
Tammannah
A bubbly actress that she is, Tammannah entered the industry at a very young age of 17. She didn’t have a great start in Telugu baring Happy Days, but managed to keep all eyes on her with which ever roles she went on to do.
Shruti Haasan
Once Gabbar Singh was a hit, Shruti never turned back. With Racegurram, Srimanthudu in Telugu, she only looks to get her leg steady and prove her worth in the future.
