Shah Rukh Khan, whose last film Happy New Year raked in the moolah at the box office but wasn’t a huge hit with critics, has just released the logo for his next film – Fan.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, who earlier directed Band Baaja Baarat, Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl, and Shudh Desi Romance, is set to direct this film. The story has been written by Habib Faisal, who has directed films Ishaqzaade and Do Dooni Chaar.
With two well-received directors penning the story, the film also has interesting casting. For the first time, Shah Rukh Khan will be sharing space with newcomer Waluscha De Sousa and Shriya Pilgaonkar, while Ileana D’Cruz also has a role in the film.
The film is rumoured to have Shah Rukh Khan play two roles – one of a superstar, and the other an ardent fan, who is also a lookalike.
The logo of the film was launched by Shah Rukh Khan today, and it looks mighty interesting! The film is slated to release on April 15, 2016.
