Waltair Veerayya To PS2: List Of 2023 South Movies With 100 Cr Gross So Far
We almost completed half of 2023 and witnessed some great movies and worst disasters. Entertainment all started with Pongal movies in which movies like Waltair Veerayya and Varisu in Tamil became the Pongal winners with huge collections at the box office. A few movies released for Ugadia and summer releases in April month were also doing good at the box office.

Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer movie Veera Simha Reddy movie released along with Waltair Veerayya for Sankranti 2023. Veera Simha Reddy movie directed by Gopichand Malineni became a mass hit at the box office with 150+ Crores in gross collections.
3. Varisu
WW Gross: Rs 292 Cr
Thalapathy Vijay joined hands with Tollywood producer Dil Raju and director Vamsi Paidipally for the Vairsu movie. Released for Pongal 2023 release movie became a blockbuster hit and clashed with Ajith’s Thunivu.
4. Thunivu

Thala Ajith starrer Thunivu movie clashed with Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu for Pongal 2023. Directed by H. Vinoth this movie failed to reach expectations and ended up as a disaster at the box office.
5. Ponniyin Selvan 2
WW Gross: Rs 170* Cr
Mani Ratnam’s Magnum Opus movie Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 movie is going well at the box office. PS 2 movie already collected 170+ crores at the box office.
6. Vaathi
WW Gross: Rs 111 Cr
Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon starrer movie Vaathi became a good hit at the box office. Directed by Venky Atluri Vaathi (sir movie in Telugu) collected 111+ Cr at the box office.
