6 Telugu Actors Who Have Been Underrated

TFI (Telugu Film Industry) is synonymous with the word “TALENT”. We have experienced some amazing, bone chilling entertainers on the silver screen. Most of them are now basking in the glory of their performances. We conjure some famous names in our minds when we talk of talent. They would mostly be Mahesh babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Chiranjeevi just to name some. No doubt they are some great performers, but there are some talented artists in the TFI whose work is not given much attention. Let us take a look at some of them.

1. Sharwanand


As a very versatile artist, he has many good roles to his name. He effortlessly played the most challenging roles. Movies like Prasthanam, Gamyam, Amma Cheppindi or the recent Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju simply shows how easily he can get you engrossed.

2. Allari Naresh


Probably the most underrated hero in the entire Telugu Industry who is mostly cliched as only comedy hero. In addition to some of the best comedy films in recent years, his characters in Nenu, Gamyam, Visakha Express were a testament to his true talent.

3. Kota Srinivas Rao


From a caring father to a heartless criminal, Kota can pull off anything within a blink of an eye. Though he belongs to the older generation, his acting skills have made him one of the biggest competitors even among the young generation. He is well respected within the film fraternity, but not many of us actually talk about his versatility.

4. Rao Ramesh


Though a latecomer, Rao Ramesh is one of the actors who has carved his own space in the industry. Being the son of the late Rao Gopal Rao, we can say the talent is in his DNA! He has done some excellent roles in Aattarintiki Daaredi, Magadheera and many more supporting characters in numerous films.

5. Tanikella Bharani


Serious, comic, good, bad – you name it, he’s done it. This gentleman has been in many flicks over many years. His impeccable timing, the ability to merge into his role and many more features make him AWESOME!

6. Sundeep Kishan


One of the young and confident actor of this generation, his performances in Prasthanam and other movies have brought laurels to this young talent. Yet to get the fame he deserves, this starlet is a fresh and adventurous actor the TFI has been lacking for some time.
