1. Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama (1992)

Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is a 1992 anime film co-produced by Japan and India; produced and directed by Yugo Sako.

In 1983, while working on “The Ramayana Relics” a documentary film about excavations by Dr. B. B. Lal near Allahabad… Yugo Sako came to know about the story of Ramayana. He liked the story of the Ramayana so much that he researched deeper into the topic and went on to read 10 versions of the Ramayana in Japanese. After reading the Ramayana he wanted to adapt it into animation as he didn’t think a live-action movie could capture the true essence of Ramayana, “Because Ram is God, I felt it was best to depict him in animation, rather than by an actor.”

Lava Kusa: The Warrior Twins is a 2010 animation film written and directed by Dhavala Satyam.

Using the skills of approximately 315 animators at the RVML Animation Studios in both Hyderabad and Manila, they created this Lava Kusa: The Warrior Twins.

Sita Sings the Blues is a 2008 American animated musical romantic comedy-drama film written, directed, produced, and animated by American artist Nina Paley.

Hanuman vs Mahiravana is a 2018 Indian epic adventure 2D and 3D stereoscopic animated film, written by Narayanan Vaidyanathan and directed by Dr. Ezhil Vendan.

It is the story of Hanuman and his attempts to free Rama and Lakshmana from the clutches of the evil wizard Mahiravana. It focuses on the tale of Hanuman and his biggest battle with Ravana’s youngest step-brother, the king of Patala Mahiravana.

Ramayana: The Epic is a 2010 Indian animated film from Maya Digital Media. Directed by Chetan Desai and produced by Ketan Mehta, it was released by Warner Bros. India

More than 400 crewmembers worked on the film over a five-year period; the first three years were spent designing the characters, while the other two were devoted to actual production.
