Vidhyarthi Bhavan, Gandhi Bazaar.
One of the oldest eateries in the city. Best known for the south Indian breakfast varieties, never
disappoints. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I must say the quality of this restaurant hasn’t changed.
Must try – Dosa, Idly, poori saagu, kesari bath
MTR – lalbagh
The brand is as popular as the name suggests. The platter of south Indian delicacies, this place has been one of Bangalore’s finest. Ambience depicting old Bangalore, this must try eatery is hard to dislike.
Must try – Breakfast varieties, filter coffee
Shree Sagar – malleshwaram
Located in Bangalore’s finest localities, this easy to spot restaurant has been the pride of north Bangalore ever since its inception. Proudly known for its ‘benne dosa’, this eatery also serves a wide range of other south Indian breakfast delicacies.
Must try – Benne dosa, filter coffee
Airlines – Vittal Mallya Road
This is one of first Bangalore’s open air restaurants. The USP of this place its ambience.
Situated in the heart of a busy road this garden eatery treated its customers with warm service and yummy food. Serves both South Indian and North Indian food. This one is a must visit.
Must try – rava idly, dosa, Chloe bature
Koshys – St marks road
Bangalore’s oldest restaurants to serve the best fish and chips. This English food serving restaurants has one of the best ambiences’ in the city. Located at a generously spread layout this is one must try restaurant.
Must try – pork sandwich, fish and chips, Spanish omelet
The Only place – Church street
This is a Victorian theme restaurant. Located at the binary of Church Street. This is one place you must try out if you like to eat English food. A wide range of non vegetarian dishes spread out, leaves a little option for the vegetarians. However if you are hard core lover of meat, do try this place out.
Must try- fish sticks, chicken Manchurian, mushroom soup, hamburger
Fishland – Gandhinagar
Centrally located, this is Bangalore finest fish serving restaurants. As the name suggests, this place caters to your entire sea food craving. Their fish thali is one of the best.
Sanjeev kapoor once visited this place and fell in love with the chilly chicken here. Pocket friendly this place is one to look out for.
Must try – crab chilly, chilly chicken , promfret fry, prawns, fish thali.
