The plot revolves around the lives villagers who are forced to work in the Tea plantation farms by the British in the pre-independence era of the 1940s. the movie touches heavy topics such as slavery and labour exploitation and does a great job of bringing the vibe 1940s India, the story is emotion and heart-wrenching, all the actors do an exceptional job and deliver powerful performances, if you are looking for an emotional story, with great writing and tight screenplay, then Paradesi is a great pick.


AnnaamalaiA remake of the 1987 Hindi film Khudgarz, based on Jeffrey Archer’s novel Kane and Abel, Annaamalai is an action drama film directed by Suresh Krissna, the film stars Rajinikanth, Kushboo and Sarath Babu in the lead roles. The film is filled with traditional Tamil dialogues, Dhanush and Paul do a great job and deliver realistic performances, Velraj does a brilliant job as the screenplay is tight, the direction is good and the cinematography is top-notch, Velaiilla pattadhari takes a unique premise and delivers a strong film that you should watch.
