Now it’s Pan-India and it’s just a regular thing when our heroes act in Bollywood, but once upon a time it used to be a big thing when our stars acted as heroes in Bollywood. Very few of our South starts are successful at the Bollywood box office. Before the Pan Indian trend, many of our stars went to Bollywood and tried their luck, some succeeded, some failed.
Today, we are going to take a look at the list of Telugu heroes who acted in straight Bollywood movies
1. Chiranjeevi – PRATIBANDH, AAJ KA GOONDA RAAJ
With two remakes Chiranjeevi made his entry in Bollywood and scored decent hits. Pratibandh is a remake of Telug movie Ankusam.
2. Nagarjuna – SHIVA, KHUDA GAWAH, DROHI, CRIMINAL, ANGAARAY, MR BECHARA, ZAKHM, AGNI VARSHA, LOC, BRAHMASTR
Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the actors who starred in more Bollywood films than any other actor from South Industry.
3. Venkatesh – ANARI, TAQDEERWALA,
KISI KA BHAI KISI KA JAAN
Venky remade his own Chanti into Anari and he also remade Yamaleela into Taqdeerwala
4. Rana Daggubati – Dum Maaro Dum, Department
After his debut in Tollywood, he acted in a Hindi cinema titled ‘Dum Maaro Dum’. He played the lead role in the Bollywood movie, Department and he also played important characters in other Bollywood movies.
5. Ram Charan – ZANJEER
Ram Charan made his entry into Bollywood with the disaster, Zanjeer. And now, his films are being celebrated all over the north.
6. Sudheer Babu – BAAGHI
Sudheer Babu played the antagonist role in Baaghi. This is the best performance of Sudheer Babu so far in his career.
7. Sundeep Kishan – SHOR IN THE CITY
Sundeep Kishan played a pivotal role in this beautiful Bollywood film ‘Shor in the City’, he also acted in The Family Man series.
8. Prabhas – Adipurush
Even though he made his entry into Bollywood with Baahubali, Adipurush will be the first straight Hindi film of Prabhas
