If you have seen the Telugu dubbed version of The Incredible Hulk, there is an instance where Hulk is beating the shit out of everyone on the streets and when they try to stop him, he says ‘nenu sithaiah. Evari mata vinanu’. So, that is the fate of a dubbing movie from English to Telugu. Dubbing a movie into a regional language has been taking place since Titanic days. The titles by ‘Lakshmi Ganapthi films’ were a different league altogether. They were named aptly keeping the subject in mind. Here we just tried naming a few English movies with the closest meaning in Telugu and they kinda turned out to be a bit funnier. 😉
